Orson Durand was a musician, poet and independent film-maker. He ran the Satyr Bookstore, in Hollywood California, above which he set up a printing press and published several books under the Raven’s Head Press label, including his own collection fiction, Necromancy Street and Other Tales.
Necromancy Street and Other Tales, originally self-published in 1931 an edition of only 50 copies is a lost classic of American decadent occult fiction.
Limited edition hardcover of 160 hand-numbered copies, thread-stitched and printed on a fine 140 g/m rough ivory paper with 140 g/m flamingo-colored Sirio endpapers. The cover is printed on grey Fedrigoni Tela, with a dustjacket printed on a 250 g/m sesame-colored felt-marked kraft paper.
